Back in March Samsung unveiled Galaxy S8 and S8+, and now company soon launch the rugged version of Galaxy S8 is called Galaxy S8 Active. The first leak of S8 Active in April, the flagship spotted on GFX Bench with model number SM-G892A which confirms its existence but while there’s no word from Samsung yet about the rugged device.
As per the listing Galaxy S8 Active will feature a 5.4-inch display with 2008 x 1080 resolution. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC under the hood carrying an Octa-core 2.3GHz CPU which is laced with 4 GB Ram and backed with Adreno 540 GPU. It runs Android Nougat 7.0 with 64 GB internal storage which is expandable with SD card.
The device is going to be offered in the US by telecom operator AT&T and sale continue this year as well. Galaxy S8 active already appeared on Geek Bench with model number SM-G892A.
The GFX listing revealed Galaxy S8 would feature 12-megapixel at rear and 8-megapixel at the front for selfies. Even though we know about the specification of Galaxy S8 Active, but still we don’t know images of the device. We are expected the Galaxy S8 Active images will render through leaks on the internet soon.
